How do I apply for a grant? Where can I find assistance to go to school? Contact the financial aid office of the school(s) you want to attend. They will have information on a wide variety of assistance options available to you from the Federal Government as well as many other sources not listed in the CFDA. Where can I find assistance to start a business? The Federal Government offers many programs to assist you in starting a business. There are a few programs which offer direct loans or guaranteed/insured for specific purposes but there are many more programs offering a wide variety of services directed at enhancing business and commerce and aid to small businesses. Can you send me a grant application? You need to read the requirements for the program(s) you are interested in. While some programs have their own specific application forms, many use the Standard Form 424, Application for Federal Assistance, for applications.
